Highlights

Hydra 2.3.0 shipped this week — the only release in the archive so far. Otherwise quiet for merges: 1 PR merged, 1 issue closed and 35 commits split between hydra and hydra-explorer.

Performance (M2). The CBOR thread starts here: an issue to store events in the database in CBOR format (#2764) and the CBOR-2 PR adding opt-in binary CBOR encoding to the client API (#2762). A sensible upper bound was also set on the input and etcd queues (#2442), following the PersistentQueue work of the preceding weeks.

Maintenance and DevX (M5). The merged change was a hydra-coding-standards bump to 0.8.0 (#2766). A first attempt at a Claude skill for setting up a hydra-node cluster opened (#2765), and the hydra-explorer UI/UX modernization opened (#59), upgrading to React 19 / Next 16 — it merges in W30.

Ecosystem Support (M4). The tracking issue for the Claude skill to set up a Hydra head operator system (#2763).
